Uddhav Thackeray met Fadnavis during Amit Shah's Mumbai visit, claim sources, Sanjay Raut denies
'Everyone has to make a few sacrifices and take a step back'
Amidst the report of the rife among the MVA partners on the seat sharing allocation, earlier, Sanjay Raut said, "Everyone has to make a few sacrifices and take a step back." Speaking to the media over seat sharing allocation, the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader said, "We have been in politics for years; every party feels that their workers should be made candidates... But this is an alliance. Everyone has the right to speak about their role, but when it comes to seat sharing, everyone has to make a few sacrifices and take a step back."
Significantly, during the media interaction, the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader also added that everyone should first think about national interest and Maharashtra's interest. "This is not about sacrifice, this is about national interest and Maharashtra's interest...We had indeed shown big-heartedness (during seat sharing for Lok Sabha elections) because we had to defeat enemies of the Constitution. Today, we have to remove from power, a corrupt Government in Maharashtra," he added.
