Delhi cabinet clears plan for more routers for courts …

NEW DELHI: To enable virtual proceedings of courts and digitisation of court records during the Covid pandemic, the Delhi cabinet on Monday approved a proposal for buying six routers and six network-attached storage (NAS) devices. The approval will pave the way for all litigants to view and attend the virtual court hearings.

The six routers will enable the district courts to meet the requirement of dedicated 1GBPS-leased line in all complexes  for smooth and hassle free functioning of courts through the online/virtual mode and serve lawyers and litigants. The cabinet meeting was headed by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.
