Cong Pushing Youth Towards Drugs: PM Modi Launches Projects Of Over Rs 23,000 Cr In Maharashtra

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday accused the Congress of pushing youth towards drugs and use the money to win elections.

"You must have heard that recently drugs worth thousands of crores have been recovered in Delhi. What's most unfortunate is that the main accused in this drug racket is a Congress leader. Congress wants to push the youth towards drugs and use that money to win elections," PM Modi said at a programme in Maharashtra's Washim district today.

On the occasion, he released the 18th instalment of PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi to farmers and launched projects of Rs 23,300 crore related to agriculture and animal husbandry sectors.

Over 7,500 projects under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF), worth over Rs 1,920 crore were announced. Among the major projects include custom hiring centres, primary processing units, warehouses, sorting and grading units, cold storage projects and post-harvest management projects.
