Clean and Nutritious Recipe Competition Held at Modern Rail Coach Factory Hospital, RaeBareli

Under the "Swachhata Hi Seva 2024" initiative, the Modern Rail Coach Factory (MRCF) Hospital in Rae Bareli hosted a "Clean and Nutritious Recipe" competition. The event aimed to promote healthy living and emphasize the importance of hygiene in cooking.

The competition was inaugurated by Mrs. Bharti Mishra, President of the Women’s Welfare Organization. The ceremony was attended by all members of the Women’s Welfare Organization, along with Mrs. Abha Jain, Principal Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Bhoomika Singh, a dietician, delivered a special lecture on the importance of a balanced diet for a healthy lifestyle. She emphasized that poor diet and lack of hygiene contribute to numerous health issues today. In this context, participants were required to incorporate millets as the primary ingredient in their nutritious recipes to promote clean, healthy, and balanced meals.

A total of 10 participants showcased their culinary talents. Mrs. Anamika Karan secured first place, Mrs. Garima Srivastava took second place, and Mrs. Soni Kumari came in third. All other participants were encouraged with gifts for their participation.

The MRCF Hospital also distributed pamphlets to all visiting patients, outlining the five key principles of safe food. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with special contributions from all hospital staff.
