Earthquake of magnitude 5 hits Nepal, light tremors felt in North India
The earthquake in Nepal came just a day after a 2.6-magnitude tremor was recorded in Maharashtra’s Solapur district on Thursday, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

National Centre for Seismology shared the details of Nepal earthquake and said the epicentre is located at Lat: 28.83 N, Long: 82.06 E, Depth: 20 Km. The quake was felt at 7:52 pm.
The earthquake in Nepal is reported days after a strong quake measuring 7.7 magnitude struck Myanmar on March 28. Over 3,000 people were killed, and 4,500 people were injured, and 341 remain missing.
Myanmar earthquake
The death toll from the massive earthquake that hit Myanmar nearly a week ago rose Thursday to 3,085 as search and rescue teams found more bodies, the military-led government said. The military said another 4,715 people have been injured and 341 are missing.
The epicentre of the 7.7 magnitude quake on March 28 was near Mandalay, Myanmar's second-largest city. It brought down thousands of buildings, buckled roads and destroyed bridges in multiple regions.
