PM Modi US visit LIVE Updates: After the bilateral meeting PM Modi and US President Donald Trump concluded at the White House, both leaders addressed joint press statement. Trump, in his address, approved the extradition of Tahawwur Rana. During the bilateral meeting, PM Modi congratulated Trump for his election victory, as he added that Trump, like an old friend reminded him of the Howdy Modi' and 'Namaste Trump' events. Ahead of his meeting with US President Donald Trump, PM Modi met US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and Indian-American entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy. PM Modi is expected to reach White House shortly to hold bilateral discussions with Trump. This is PM Modi's first US visit after Trump came back to the White House as the 47th President of the United States. After reaching the US on Wednesday, PM Modi received a rousing welcome from members of the Indian-American diaspora. Notably, PM Modi will become the fourth leader hosted by Trump in the weeks after his inauguration last month. In their meeting, both leaders will likely focus on ramping up India-US cooperation in sectors like trade, investment, energy, defence, technology and immigration.
