Delhi Election 2025: BJP Releases First List Of Candidates, Fields Parvesh Verma, Ramesh Bidhuri Against Kejriwal and Atishi

New Delhi: The BJP on Saturday released its first list of 29 candidates for the polls to the 70-member Delhi Assembly, fielding former MP Parvesh Verma from the New Delhi seat against ex-chief minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal.

It has named another former MP Ramesh Bidhuri from Kalkaji, where Chief Minister and AAP candidate Atishi is in the fray. The party has fielded its national office-bearers Dushyant Kumar Gautam and Ashish Sood from Karol Bagh and Janakpuri, respectively, Arvinder Singh Lovely from Gandhi Nagar and former AAP leader Kailash Gahlot from Bijwasan.

Former Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay will contest from Malviya Nagar. The list also includes Rajkumar Bhatia who has been fielded from Adarsh ​​Nagar, Deepak Chaudhary from Badli and Kulwant Rana from Rithala.

Apart from them, the saffron party has fielded Manoj Shaukeen has been fielded from Nangloi Jat, Rajkumar Chauhan from Mangolpuri, Vijendra Gupta from Rohini, Rekha Gupta from Shalimar Bagh, Ashok Goyal from Model Town, Rajendra Kumar Anand from Patel Nagar, Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Garden, Kailash Gehlot from Bijwasan, Sardar Tarvinder Singh Marwah from Jangpura, Satish Upadhyay from Malviya Nagar, Anil Sharma from RK Puram, Gajendra Yadav from Mehrauli and Kartar Singh Tanwar from Chhatarpur.

Khushi Ram Chunar will contest from Ambedkar Nagar, Narayan Dutt Sharma from Badarpur, Ravindra Singh Negi from Patparganj, Om Prakash Sharma from Vishwas Nagar, Anil Goyal from Krishna Nagar, Arvind Singh Lovely from Gandhinagar, Kumari Rinku from Seemapuri, Jitender Mahajan from Rohtas Nagar and Ajay Mahawar from Gohana.
