'No Prison Can Keep Me inside, Will Come Out'; Delhi CM Kejriwal's Wife Sunita Reads His Messages

New Delhi: Amid the ongoing furore over Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's arrest following an excise policy scam, the CM's wife, Sunita Kejriwal, read her husband's messages, who is in ED custody, via video conference on Saturday.

The AAP convener's wife read out his messages, it said, "I have struggled a lot; this arrest doesn't surprise me." "No prison can keep me inside; I will come out and fulfil my promise," the CM's other message.

Kejriwal's further message to AAP workers from ED custody is, "Don't hate BJP members because of my arrest; they are our brothers."

Besides, Sunita took to her X handle and wrote a post in Hindi against the Prime Minister by saying the arrest was an arrogance of power. The post read, "Modiji got your thrice-elected Chief Minister arrested out of arrogance of power. He is trying to crush everyone. This is a betrayal of the people of Delhi. Your chief minister has always stood with you. Whether inside or outside, his life is dedicated to the country. The public knows that he is Janardan. Jai Hind."

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Kejriwal on Thursday night in connection with a money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy 2021-22.
